I had my interview on March 15th as well and I have been constantly refreshing my email everyday.. The official NYCTF website says final notifications go out within two weeks of selection day but I feel like that's too good to be true. It seems like it takes more like 3-6 weeks from what I've read on this blog but hopefully we'll find out soon! Best of luck!

It took 2 months for me to get a firm decision (Interviewed mid-January).

Just don't think about it every waking second.

Judging from the posts on here from last year, it seems the latest that most people found out was in April, which would make sense because university assignments go out in May, and there are quite a few things to do before pre-service training. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you-- hope you hear good news soon!! :)

I just received an email saying that my application is under review :(.

I read some similar post where after a month they accept the person.. Do someone know if at this point they can either reject it or accept it ????

It was nerve wrecking but not that bad. The groups were broken into 6-8 ppl. Each group had 2 selectors and were stationed in a classroom. We introduced ourselves and then immediately started our lesson plans n a random order given by the selectors (I was 2nd). We took a 5 minute break once everyone finished their lesson sample. When we came back we broke into smaller groups and engaged in a group activity in which the objective was to learn how to give specific directions while teaching. After that, we re-taught the 1st 2 minutes of our lessons but this time we applied our interpretation of giving specific directions. A math test followed and that was the end. It kind of speeds by. I hope this helps
