Fall Cohort GRE Exam

Hey guys,
Those who were accepted into the Fall Cohort have to take the GRE exam. Does anyone know why? because those who were accpeted into the June Cohort do no have to take the GRE exams.

It's a new rule - country wide. If you start grad school after July 1, 2016, you have to take the GRE.

My question is - do we have to get a certain score? This isn't a pass/fail test. It's just a marker for entrance so how will it work with the fellows? I don't know.

Wow that's wonderful :/
That I do not know either. After reading the enrollment guide, all I know is that we have to take it during or by the end of PST. Hopefully, it's done as you're saying, just an entrance exam.

I am willing to bet that it's a formality, considering they give your assignment right after pre-service training is over. I am thinking they just need students to take the exam to meet the new requirement. I would think if the score would affect our acceptance, NYCTF would have to tell us now to make an informed decision whether or not to accept enrollment.
